While the kids were in school on Tuesday morning, we went to the Farmer's Market in the nearby town of Katzrin. The fruits and vegetables are beautiful and the smell of the herbs is quite special. After we loaded the car with the produce, some items from the hardware store, and the rest of our shopping from the grocery store (whew!), we came home and enjoyed a quiet afternoon helping Maya with an art project.
Maya loves to draw and paint. Sometimes, she spends glorious moments hearing stories from her Sabba Steve. Together they make up parts of the stories and even act them out with the stuffed animals in Maya's room. There have been many special moments like this during our visit.
