Yesterday I went with Ariele to see her doctor. What an unexpected joy I had in being able to see an ultrasound of the new baby! The doctor was able to speak to me in enough English so that I could understand what I was looking at -- I saw baby moving, kicking, and moving its arms around (sorry folks, no word on the sex of the baby!). Ariele and I took home a picture of the what we saw and showed it to Maya. The joy on her face when she saw the picture reminded me of the huge smile she had when she first met Daniyel two years ago!
